Ett mail jag behövde idag
Prenumererar på Ron Moores "Daily Devotional" med bibelord och betraktelse. Idag träffade det rakt i hjärtat.
Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
God invites you to fearlessness. He invites you to walk away from your anxiousness. Yeah, I know it sounds a little crazy right now with all you are going through. But the One who makes the offer knows your situation inside and out. There is good reason to check “Accept.”
The invitation to leave fear and anxiety is not based on you but on God, his presence and his person. He is with you right now, right in the middle of your circumstance, right in the middle of your questions and right in the middle of your doubt. He is your God! You belong to him. He never takes his eyes off you.
He will give you everything you need for the journey ahead. He will provide you with the strength to face the challenges of every day and the fears of every night. He is at your side to help you through the steep paths and deep valleys. His strong right hand will never let you fall whether you are walking in the daylight or stumbling in the dark. Let him carry your backpack of fear and anxiety. He is more than capable of handling the load.
Lord Jesus, our strength is depleted. Thank you for always holding us up and never letting us fall. We admit that we are praising you one minute and panicking the next. Thank you for never leaving us, for giving us supernatural strength, and for walking with us through our deepest joy and darkest night. Amen.
